The information in your report will be dependant upon the test kit you have chosen and the recommendations will be dependant upon the information you provided in the COC (Chain of Custody). All reports will outline a company overview and introduction, we will record your chain of custody as well as time, date, person collecting and any other data provided as to how the sample was collected, the environment in which it was collected and on what type of material collected from if that info is given to us. We will identify contaminants tested at hand when enough data is present and interpretation is possible. We will include additional contacts, resources, experts, products, and the necessary recommendations to solve the problem at hand. Further more a project manager will be assigned. For physical samples, we will provide genus and or particles observed, we will provide a magnified image with information of the magnification, we will provide a mold rating along with any additional comments observed through analization. For the air samples we will provide when observed the spore type and or particulate, raw count and spore.
All reports will have a definition of contaminants identified. All samples are initially observed by a QA/QC with signature followed by a laboratory certificate signed off by a laboratory director. Lab certs are signed by both.
Home test kits are intended to be the first step to aid a homeowner with the understanding of what contaminants may be present in the home. It is also understood that when collections are made by non-qualified personnel, errors can occur in the collection process. Due to the collection and limitations of home kits, these tests can have false negative and false positive results. Any report or documentation produced by Davis Test Kits relates only to the samples tested and to insure the integrity the results may not be reproduced. All reports and documentation must carry the Davis Test Kit corporation seal to be considered authentic. Liability is limited to cost of analysis.
